5 THINGS TO DO AT HOME DURING THE SOCIAL DISTANCING

Hi moms, how are you all?




Hopefully you are doing just fine. How the things going at your place? I live in Indonesia, we are currently have around 300 people who are positive for COVID 19. And it's been a week we are doing this social distancing method. I am not gonna talk about it since I am not any expert related to this issue. But I do hope this virus will be handled soon, so we can have a normal life like we used to and especially no more people who are suffered because this COVID 19.

Anyway, I heard so many friends of mine said that they were all getting confused about what to do during this hard time. And doing nothing means giving too many chance of worried appears. I knew it, cause I do feel it too. That's not healthy. So let's find some other things to do AT HOME to enjoy our togetherness with the family.


5 FUN AND EASY THINGS TO DO AT HOME DURING THE SOCIAL DISTANCING


1. BAKING WITH THE KIDS/ SPOUSE

Baking is always a great idea! Moreover, now you have more free time together and the little angels do need more things to munch, rite? So, why don't we make it together? What to bake? Try simple cakes, choux where the kids gotta do the toppings, or donuts! Yep, simple food can be very special when we do it together! Baking is also a platform for a fun learning for the kids. You can introduce them to many names of tools you have in the kitchen, and also the names of the ingredients. And last but not least, IT IS SO FUN!

2. EXERCISING

Yup, you got it rite. It is now so easy to find a lecture online. You can just search on Youtube about simple at home exercise, or exercise for beginners. You basically need nothing but a strong will to start exercising at home. Try the simplest one, stretching. Do it regularly during the day so your body will not feel cramp or stiff, even you are going out at all. If you do have a backyard, you can sunbathing in the morning for about 15 minutes and do some simple runs. Alone or with kids, both are sharing the same excitement!

3. REDECORATE (PLUS DECLUTTER) THE HOUSE

Having more time at home means having more time to make it more comfortable! Declutter the old stuff? Why not. It is the right time to rearrange your life, and start it with a simple declutter. Getting bored with your room layout? Why don't you redecorate the house, make some diys decoration from the stuff that you found after decluttering. Fresh decorate home can create a fresh mood!




4. MAKE A DREAM BOARD

What about making a family dream board together with the kids? I used to make a dream board when I was working at the office. It helps me determined my work and get focused on my purpose. I guess I myself will start a new one tomorrow. A new family dream board, a combination from our goals, the kids dreams and things to achieve in a near future. Don't forget to splash some beauties to make it more interesting and appealing!

5. TEA TIME (OR COFFEE) AND DEEP TALK WITH SPOUSE

If we are always busy with work, maybe it is just the time to have a deep convo with the husband. From doing a recap about the relationship, the kids, the future we wanna achieve or our personal dreams. Yes, sometime we got caught in things called responsibilities and forgot about our personal dreams. Ask about his dream, his goals, his future plan as a person, not only a husband or a father. Then tell your own story. And find how you both can match it well. It may bound you both tighter.

So that's 5 simple things to do to kill the time and stay inside during this social distancing. Healthy and fun activities that you can do with the family just to get you all closer and the family stronger. May God protect us from this virus and the condition will be back to normal, soon.
