Back to the East Java, but closer

Me and my hubby were born and raised in East Java, so we definitely have a very thick tongue about east java food. And this is one of our fave place to get it.

Rujak Cingur Cak Anton. Located in Bintaro sector 1, this place is quite well-known among the East Java people who stay in Jakarta and South Tangerang. It's not too hard to find it, just find a small place across Snappy Bintaro, and you'll meet Cak Anton (cak is the way east java people call an elder male).

The veggies and ingredients are all fresh. Cak Anton himself even need to buy "petis" or the shrimp paste far from Gresik, East Java, to find a great taste he wants. If some people ask me what a cingur is, I usually ask them to eat and taste it first, find their reaction, then tell them what it is :p

We, me and hubby, even thought that this Rujak Cingur Cak Anton made is way tastier and more delicious than we usually find in our hometown, back in East Java. I don't know why, but Cak Anton only said that it's just an ordinary way of cooking and common ingredients like others' seller. Trust me, it is better :)

The best way to know the taste is tasting it. Try it with this garlic snack (kerupuk) and you'll be blown away by the freshness and the thick extraordinary sauce Cak Anton made. Feels like home :)
