day 2: CHOCO BANANA WONTON
heiho! still on the project week with my #onedayonenewrecipe #totry
yesterday i plan to do some turnover, with banana inside. but last nite i got home so late and kinda feel so tired to make a pastry puff. since i've got a pack of wonton wrappers on the fridge, then i changed my plan.
it's CHOCO BANANA WONTON time!
you only need:
- wonton wrappers
- banana, you may slice or cut it as you like, but the smaller the better
- butter
- milo 3 in 1 (instant chocolate milk in sachet)
- 1 egg, beaten with water, for the eggwash
it's soooo easy to do.
- i choose to bake it. so i preheat the oven up to 190 degrees celcius.
- for the filling, mix butter with milo with spoon. pour the banana and mix it well.
- take 1 layer of wonton wrappers. put the filling right in the center. do not put too many, it will make you hard to fold it.
- brush the square of wonton wrappers with eggwash then fold to make a triangle.
- brush the top with eggwash. do it over and again with the other layers of wonton wrappers.
- bake for about 20 minutes. do not overcooked it. i did once and it burns -_-
- it would be better and not so hard to eat if we stop baking once it's done enough.
- voila!
what's for tomorrow? it's gonna be a pasta day!
see you tomorrow!
