an old style coffee at kopi enampuluh

off from work is a blessing. a week off is a miracle. and miracle does happens. hehe...

last month, my boss decided to make a week holiday from Christmas to New Year. after working so damn hard to fill the deadline, so here we go. a holiday.

since i have no plan to go anywhere, i spent one day meeting a good friend from surabaya who already work in this town too. so we planned to meet at the coffee shop, like always :)

and we tried this new coffee shop in town. kopi enampuluh is a coffee shop located in kemang timur raya number 60 jakarta. as everybody knows that kemang is a very famous lifestyle area in this town.

so we dropped ourselves here. first impression, nice and warm. i always love when they play the wood materials in a building. this isn't a big, luxurious cafe. but i love the place.

in the terrace, i can find some wood chairs and table for those who might choose to smoke. getting inside, there's a Christmas tree on the left, with some old stuff like an old typewriter, cd, movie posters and suitcase plus magazines on my right. the wall is full with pictures. they just fit the room.

what could've been better than sitting in this comfy chair, watching the pouring rain outside the window, chatting with besties, and sipping a hot coffee? so what about the coffee?

they named the coffee with an old style indonesian language, served it on an old style cup with an old style ambiance.

this is my choice for the evening. a cup of hot Kopi Njonjah which combined a coffee with chocolate (if i'm not mistaken). it's sweet, rich and a bit heavy though. but i like it. suitable for you who didn't really into a black strong coffee. and look at the companion! there're so many cookies for free! haha...

maybe i need to try their origin coffee later, when i'm back to this lovely coffee shop. maybe i'll bring my boyfriend. or maybe i'll just come alone and write some.
